Dear OHS Parents and Guardians,
I wanted to make you aware of an incident that occurred this afternoon, Sept. 19, 2023, at Oxford High School. Emergency vehicles reported to the high school to respond to a disruptive student. The parents of the student have been notified and the student has been removed from the building. Emergency vehicles have been cleared from the building as well. The incident will be reviewed, evaluated, and processed through our student code of conduct which includes a building administrator, a mental health professional and knowledgeable staff about the student.
Safety is a top priority. Parents, please talk to your students and remind them that their words and actions matter and any student who speaks or acts inappropriately will face disciplinary consequences. If you have questions or concerns please contact me.
