After School Credit Recovery Information

In an effort to assist students in recovering credits, Oxford High School will continue to offer an After School Credit Recovery (ASCR)  program.  Students enrolled in this program, have the same expectations of behavior and attendance as they would in the regular school day.  ASCR is a great opportunity to help students who are behind on credits to be able to graduate with their class.  We hope that students will take full advantage of this experience. All ASCR courses are $50.00*

An ASCR course will not replace a failing grade on a transcript; it is an additional grade.  For example, if your student failed World History A, their new credit recovery grade will appear as ZZ World History A CR, (the ZZ denotes an online class).

English Language Arts Credit Recovery Information (ELACR)

English Language Arts Credit Recovery is a remediation course.   Students will work with an OHS teacher to make up missing or failing work to gain back lost credit.  Students enrolled in this program, have the same expectations of behavior and attendance as they would in the regular school day.  ELACR is a great opportunity to help students who are behind on credits to be able to graduate with their class.  We hope that students will take full advantage of this experience. All ELACR courses are $50.00*
