I wanted to provide the OHS school family with an update to our earlier communication from Dr. Markavitch regarding the alarm that activated at 7:13am.
Although the alarm went off before students and staff were scheduled to arrive, we did have morning activities and practices going on. Our students, staff and fire department did a great job evacuating and following our protocols. We appreciate everyone working together during a very stressful and unexpected time.
Our administrative team has been checking in on our students and staff. We were able to start our day on time with first hour, and I will follow up with the school during 3rd hour on the PA.
Our mental health team is available for our students and if we can support you as a parent, or provide resources, please reach out to me.
