Dear OHS Parents and Guardians,
In the early hours of this morning, August 15, 2023, we were made aware of an OK2Say tip received regarding two prank phone calls made to two of our Oxford High School students, one which included a threat. Oakland County Sheriff Officers investigated the tip thoroughly and the threat was determined non-credible.
With an abundance of caution, we secured oxford High School, added additional security staff and limited entrance to the building through one main door.
Parents, please talk to your students and remind them that all threats involving Oxford Community Schools will be taken seriously, investigated by law enforcement, and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Threats can be reported anonymously to the State of Michigan’s OK2SAY tip line.
